HowToBuyGoldX.comThis site shows you how to buy gold and why now (2011) is the right time to buy gold.

1. Physical Gold

Buying Physical Gold

Once you’ve decided how much you want to put into physical silver/gold, your first investment will be 40% going to physical gold.

This means you will place an order online or over the phone and receive a package in the mail (via FedEx, UPS, etc.).

How to Buy Physical Gold

There are many companies and resellers you can buy through.

As with all things, there are also scammers and/or people who will use your ignorance against you.

Don’t let that happen.

Here are the two places I’ve learned to trust as reputable sources of physical purchasing of gold.

How to Buy Physical Gold
Option 1 – Apmex

The American Precious Metals Exchange (APMEX) is based out of Oklahoma. I’ve talked with people at APMEX and feel good about the business they are doing and the prices they charge.

How to buy physical gold from Apmex:

Visit the Apmex website. Choose a product. Buy it.

Apmex will ship it to you.

It’s as simple as that.

Some popular items to purchase at APMex are:
• American Gold Eagles
• American Silver Eagles
• South African Gold Kruggerrands
• 90% silver coin (quarters, nickels, and dimes minted using silver before silver became more valuable than its cost in the 1950’s/1960’s).

Option 2 – TheMoneyChanger

The Moneychanger – this business is run by Franklin Sanders.

Though he’s a bit on the “out there” side for some people, as time has gone on and I’ve understood better both his style and his methods, I’ve realized that he is a very intelligent guy.

I now understand more about why he makes some of the comments he does.

From my experience, he and his business are trustworthy.

How to buy physical gold from The Moneychanger:

Go to this web form:

That form will send themoneychanger an email.

The message will let them know you are interested in purchasing gold through them.

They can get in touch with you from this simple contact form.

Calling TheMoneyChanger

If you decide to call them, you’ll probably talk to Justin Sanders or Franklin Sanders.

Please let them know you were referred by Jonathan Kraft.

If you don’t know what type of coins/gold to buy, ask them what they recommend you buy, based on how much you are buying.

Tell them the amount of money you want to spend. They can make a recommendation for your best investment buying gold right now.

Option 3 – The United States Mint

You can also buy directly from the United States mint. I’ve never done it.

If you want to look into it, just do a Google search for “buy gold from US Mint”, or something similar. This should bring you to the US Mint’s website.

Now that you have ordered some physical gold (40% into physical gold), the next step I would take is to open and fund a gold account.
